The owner of Schmelz Countryside Volkswagen needed to expand dealership parking.
Challenge:
The owner wanted to maximize the available space by minimizing the size of the required retention pond.
RESI Solution:
RESI installed an EPIC system, along with permeable and open grid pavers designed to collect stormwater runoff in an engineered profile below the surface.
Results:
RESI’s design increased developable space by eliminating the traditional retention pond, thereby allowing the display and storage of an additional 100 cars. The open cell pavers filled with crushed granite, provide an attractive all-season surface with superior water infiltration rates.
